The first of its kind, Pilgrimage 2020 is a faith-based, virtual experience for United Methodist youth and their leaders, sponsored by the NC Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Gathering Virtually November 13-15, 2020
Pilgrimage has been creating a space for thousands of United Methodist youth (6th – 12th grades) and their mentors to gather for over 25 years. Pilgrimage is a life-changing weekend event filled with amazing artists, thought provoking speakers, and inspiring youth leadership – all bearing witness to the transforming love of Christ. This weekend is for students and adult student leaders looking for a weekend worship experience that calls everyone to a new or stronger faith in Jesus, challenging everyone to share God’s love in word and action.
NCC Pilgrimage is November 13-15, 2020 and is for youth in the 6th-12th grades and their adult leaders.
Early Registration ends on October 25, 2020.

How To Attend and Engage
Pilgrimage 2020 has been designed to support multiple ways of attending, some of which are outlined below.
Each attendee, whether or not they register on their own or as a part of a group, will receive a unique account (username and password) to access the Pilgrimage 2020 Portal. This allows them to view each of the weekend sessions and to participate in “Interactions,” such as polling, viewing social media posts and more.
Locally As A Group
If circumstances allow, attendees are also able to gather in small groups for some or all of the activities during the Pilgrimage weekend. As each attendee has their own login to the Pilgrimage 2020 Portal, attendees are able to use their personal mobile device to participate in “Interactions,” such as polling, viewing social media posts and more.
Build Your Own
Every element of the Pilgrimage weekend (i.e. general sessions; individual events such as testimonies, songs, etc) are available on demand in the Pilgrimage 2020 Portal. This allows attendees to define their own Pilgrimage experience, if they would like. We, of course, encourage all attendees to join live in watching the General Sessions when they are scheduled to create a feeling of community.
Pilgrimage is my favorite [NC Conference Youth Ministry] event of the year! While I wish that we were gathering together in Fayetteville in November, I can’t wait to attend Pilgrimage 2020 virtually!
How To Register
There are two ways to register for Pilgrimage 2020: individually or as a group.
Single Attendee Registration
Single Attendee Registration is a new, unique registration type to create the opportunity for anyone to attend Pilgrimage. If your group is not attending Pilgrimage 2020, you are able to register as a Single Attendee. Or, if you are a NC Conference Youth Ministry alum, friend of Pilgrimage, United Methodist or member of Christ’s church, this registration type is for you!
Early: $10 per person
General: $15 per person
As A Group
Group Registration is built to allow for one group leader to register and pay for all attendees. The leader then has the ability to invite attendees to join their group. Each attendee will still receive their own login information for the Pilgrimage 2020 Portal. This registration type is meant to mirror the traditional Pilgrimage group registration in which the local church youth leader is responsible for registrations.
Price: Early: $5 per person
General: $10 per person
